We are looking for a Digital Content Creator to join our studio in Kansas City. This person must have a passion for storytelling through film and photography. The position requires a balance of creative vision and technical skillset. The goal for this role is to create well-produced, thought-provoking content that shares finished work and behind-the-scenes process from our design and fabrication projects. The Digital Content Creator handles capturing video footage, editing, and final production of all visual content to be published on the Hufft website, Vimeo and social media channels. This content will also be used for award submissions and publication features. This role is based in our Kansas City office and requires occasional travel to other offices and projects. The Digital Content Creator will manage the Hufft social media channels, suggesting ideas for new content, and monitoring engagement and performance analytics for posts.  



  • Capture and edit video and photo content for Hufft website, social platforms, award submissions and publication features 
  • Creative visioning for video and short film projects 
  • Storyboard content with Marketing Manager, Principals and other team members 
  • Capture all necessary content outlined in storyboards, including B-roll 
  • Utilize Adobe Creative Suite, including Premier, After Effects and Audition 
  • Help manage Hufft social media channels, including posting, monitoring engagement, assessing post performance and analytics, and suggesting content ideas 
  • Photograph finished custom fabrication objects 
  • Communicate and coordinate in a professional manner with Hufft team members  


  • 1-5 years of video and photography production experience 
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Premier, After Effects and Audition 
  • Technical acumen to run, configure, set up and correct video, audio, lighting or other production equipment 
  • Ability to manage time efficiently and transition between deadlines easily 
  • Good interpersonal skills with clear, concise communication 
  • Attention to detail 
  • Graphic design capability is a bonus
